Unwound blog 1 (Donna Pryor)
Im choosing adoption and being "storked" in this book there are many similarities between the two but also many differences also. As they use being storked in the book Unwind its where mothers can leave their baby on anyones door step and as long as they don't get caught then that baby becomes legally theirs when they find it. Now adoption is going through the process of finding the baby a nice home and making sure it is safe. Now storking in not safe in the book Connor tells Risa and Lev about when his family was storked. The baby was passes from house to house with no one knowing and 2 weeks later the baby passes away. Connors family felt bad they knew legally the baby was theirs so they paid for the funeral. Everyone that went to the funeral did not know who the baby was but they were crying. Why were they crying? They were crying because they also passes the baby around from door step to doorstep. Adoption how ever is a lot more safer than storking because u know were your baby will be and also if it is safe. You can choose to be able to see your baby or to never have anything to do with that baby again. Either way you have a choice and storking you dont know the people you are dropping your child off with all you know is that its off your hands now.

i Agree with you that adoption and storking are very similar. i believe me and you have the same opinion on how they are the same they both are very wrong and in the united states it might be safer than leaving your child there on someones door step that you dont know whats going to happen but then again here you can choose but still you dont know they are being treated or what is happening to them there.
