Unwind Blog #1 INSTRUCTIONS

The situations in Unwind are futuristic, yet they are also realistic and identifiable with events and issues from our past and present. Choose one of the following topics or add one of your own that relates to the book. Then, explain how it relates to Shusterman’s story.

Hiding from the enemy (i.e. Jewish people hiding during WWII)
Organ Donation
Teen Cliques
Pro-Life
Pro-Choice
Teen Runaways
Evangelists
Red Cross Blood Drives
War Profiteers
Racism
Homophobia
Teen Angst
Orphans and Orphanages
1) Use at least one source, a newspaper or magazine article, an encyclopedia, etc. Summarize the information presented in your source. (Don’t forget to cite your source!)
2) Explain how the information from your source connects to Unwind. Use at least two direct quotations from the book.

3) Write 250 words minimum.

4)  POST your own.

5)  Respond (Comment) to a peer (50 words minimum)

6) Due Friday, November 8th by 3pm--This IS a performance grade.
