For my topic i choose suicide bombers because its tied to the book unwind. A suicide bomber in real life is when a individual person straps them self with a explosive in a attempt to create as much damage as they can or attempt to kill as much people as they can knowing they will die in the process. Suicide bomber also kill there self to bring fear to people. The suicide bombers relate to the book unwind because in the book the people are afraid of people called "clappers" because in the book clappers put them self with explosives and they start to clap to make there self explode. it relates to the book when Lev pulled the fire alarm and everybody was getting out of the school it explains "Still, clapper threats are always taken seriously, because you never know when the threat might be real". The book also relates when Connor and Risa are outside of the school and alexis points Risa out to the police. Risa come up with the idea to start clapping and Connor yells out "Clappers! he screams. In an instant the word is out. clappersclappersclappers....". This helps Connor and Risa escape from the cops because the crowd goes crazy when they hear this and it also help them from Lev catching up to them. this tells me how the suicide bombers are connected to clappers in the book unwind.
