The topics i chose was abortions because they play a big part in the book. They also play a huge part in today's society. because so many teen girls get pregnant and most of them cant financially support it. and thats when abortion becomes an option. but to me it's exactly the same thing as being unwounded. The baby doesn't know that you are planning there death. The same thing goes for the unwinds because they have no idea, there parents hasn't told them anything until suddenly they pick you up and basically tell you the are going to kill you or as Lev says " Their lives will be lived in an undivided state"
Lev view being unwind as good. the young soon to be mothers also view having an abortion as a good thing. because they have an "second chance at life" but the thing is why are giving yourself a second chance when you haven't gave the baby a chance at life. which you created while having to much fun. The reason i picked abortions was because of teens in the book would drop there baby off not know if they were going to get tooken care so basically passing the baby around the neighbor hood it could die in that process. and one actually did die. so either way the baby could/will die which conner witnessed,
"My parents brought it to the hospital, but there was nothing they could do.
I was there when it died. I saw it die." So today i told you about how abortions ties in to the book unwind!
Your post on abortion to Unwind is very solid. It looks like that people in that book “abort” their children to be unwind because that are troublemakers or unable to take care of them, yet when storked, the storked family may not want in and may die. And to people in real life, they abort their children if they can take care of it or it’s a nonliving one, and the mother has a second chance, also many people usually want their own kids, not fostered kids.
